Dave Inouye has lived in the Bay Area for 50+ years and worked in the Electric Utility business for over 30 years as a Power Lineman, Engineering Estimator, and Compliance

Dave has a passion for coaching youth sports

• Girls Softball

Dave true passion is coaching Inline Hockey and was fortunate enough to coach the Junior Men’s USA Inline Hockey teams at the World Inline Championships in Argentina (2015), Italy (2016) China (2017). He also has operated a youth travel hockey club since 1996 that plays throughout USA and Canada.

Dave started playing ice hockey back in the 90’s then Inline Hockey (Roller Hockey) soon hit the area and from there started playing and coaching the sport. Playing goalie for most of his seasons in tournaments and rec leagues. Long time Sharks season ticket holder, but also supports the Barracuda, Giants, Niners and Warriors.

Dave was asked to join the Foundation Board in 2011 and has enjoyed helping the community through its grant process ever since. “It’s an amazing feeling when you help kids in our community that have a passion for sports and you give them the opportunity to participate when they otherwise would not” Looking forward to many more years helping grow the Sharks Alumni Foundation into a community leader.
